Fox has announced they are bringing the Uwe Boll epic to Blu:

There's no specs yet, but expect Fox's usual DTS-MA audio and AVC-MPEG-4 video.

It's also the director's cut version, running 162 minutes.

MSRP is $34.95 -- a bit cheaper than Fox's usual $39.98 -- and street date December 16.

$34.95* price tag: even Fox knows this is terrible, terrible shit.



*Although, maybe a change is coming... could Fox finally be lower prices. The Bond movies also have this MSRP.... probably not. They just know that no one will buy it at $40. @ $34 ($24 @ Amazon) a few might just make a mistake.

Has anybody actually seen this movie?....... cuz it is actaully really really really really REALLY bad.
I think I sit through these as some kind of wierd self inflicted torture. Pushing myself to see if I can endure. To see if I have a survivalist spirit. The laughs are pretty good in the first 20 minutes, then its like being punched in the nuts for the next 2hours, leaving that sick feeling in your stomach. Until the end credits song, by some band called Hammerfall, almost totally redeems everything. It is the most ridiculous end credit song you will ever hear... in.... your... whole... life....

Ugh. I saw House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark, and I was out after that. This guy makes Paul W.S. Anderson look like Spielberg in comparison.

This movie is absolutely unwatchable by almost anyone's standards. I have been very impressed that studios have made an effort to dig up more than just the typical top titles so that there is a little something for everyone. But SERIOUSLY! Almost anything would be better than this; so many other titles they could have put the effort into. Then again, this IS Fox, my least favorite corporate office.
