Default The Dark Knight - Dec. 12th?

Got a call this morning from a friend that manages a FYE. He noticed that The Dark Knight has a Dec. 12th release date in the computer for the DVD. While these dates aren’t ever set in stone, they’re usually pretty accurate. Also keep in mind this was a listing for the DVD, so no word yet on the Blu but again, I think things are looking good.

Ok, just called him to clarify and he said he also has some sort of official print out that states the 12th and specifically mentions the blu ray as well as the dvd. If promotional materials are already being made then I think this won’t remain a mystery for much longer.

i live in the UK, and on the store pc (i work at blockbuster) it has a 12th dec release date on the system. And on the BB system, if a date isnt confirmed it always has 20/20/20 so this is legit.

So I just bugged him again about the cover art thing, and wouldn’t you know it, that jackass told me the wrong date. It is listed as the 9th, he was giving me the date from memory. Sorry to all for the confusion. Lastly, there wasn’t any artwork to show off.

i saw the joblo posting, and if that ended up being the coverart for the blu, for some reason it looks like it screams needing a steelbook edition.

There's a thread about it, not a forum about it.
