Well the phrase 'Yippee ki yay, motherfucker' is an iconic part of the franchise, so it's a little more than just some extraneous swearing.

Then wait for the inevitable double dip. You know Fox will be good for it.

I liked the rated version better. The unrated one looked like bad dubbing was going on .

yes, yes. In places it did seem off. Current Blu is fine for me.

The rated cut is what was poorly dubbed. I thought some of it was unwatchable.

There is no Blu-ray version with the unrated cut anywhere in the world. All Blu-ray versions, be they from the US or Australia or Japan or anywhere else, have the theatrical version.

Fox's official reason for this was that the unrated cut was not finished in a timely manner because the director had other obligations following the release of the film in theaters, and there was not enough time to encode it and author the Blu-ray disc. So instead of delaying the Blu-ray version, they just used the obviously finished theatrical version so it could come out day-and-date with the DVD.

Whether that is true or not is debatable, as they had time to get the Unrated DVD prepped. But I suppose it is reasonable as the Blu-ray authoring tools are not as mature as the DVD ones, employees don't have as much experience with BD, and replication lines could have been hard to come by last fall.
