I heard it was by law BUT DUE TO WHAT FUCKING REASON? FUCKS SAKE. i just bought street kings first half french/english movie ive bought in a while since casino royale and 300 since then ive been avoiding buying them fucking hate them. im just gonna watch street kings and return it then order from us amazon which will take 2 fucking weeks.

I'm 99% sure he's referring to the fact its printed in dual languages all over the box, ruining what many people consider good covers.

Sorry that you are so mad about the dual languages. It is Canadian law to have everything in both French and English, from the label on your bag of chips to your 's.

If you really hate the covers go to cdcovers.cc and print your own.

Yep, I thought that was the case but as I was saying before that it doesn't make the make the movie experience any different than if it had a purely English cover. He should just continue to buy or import the American versions if he cares so much. There are bigger things to worry about than a bit of French on your box art.

This would be a big deal for me too if I was in the same situation. I am also a movie collector and I consider all aspects of a release important. Cover art, disc art, menu design, PQ/AQ, etc are all factors I take seriously.
