The Blu-Ray cover looks cool. It's from the theatrical one sheets/posters. It's legit.

I know these are pulled from the posters... but that doesn't make them "legit" covers for the DVD/BD releases. Do I really have to point out all the amateur mistakes to you guys?

Uh, yeah, if you're gonna dispute them. What you got?

MrE is great at photoshop, he works with it quite a bit from what I remember him saying. I think he would know if it was fake or poorly done.

Oh shit, let me clarify. I'm talking about that "actual" cover shot of Batman standing in front of the building. That one looks the best. Yes, I'll agree, the head shot with his hand holding the batarang is obvious photoshop.

I'm digging the one of him standing in front of the building.

First clue is the side of the cover art. Obvious mirror of the front. There is no reason why the official artwork would do this because the official artwork extends much farther than where the artwork on that cover ends.

Second clue is the blacked out bottom on the DVD cover. They are obviously covering up the credit text found on the poster art.

I would also imagine that they would relocted "The Dark Knight" logo and text (along with the actor names) to the top instead of having it along the bottom.

Do I need to go on?...

I agree that this packaging is not official.

BUT, that picture with the batarang is a legit promo picture. You can download it on the movies website. They also had similar photos for Joker & Two-face.

I do like that poster though, it would make a pretty sick cover.
