same here. I normally could care less about PiP but 300 is one title I do care about it. Warner better not drop the ball on this...

is the Hot Gates documentary really the only new special feature? why do we need 2-discs then?

edit - 10 bucks says blu-ray.com screwed up and put up the DVD specs which explains why there is 2-discs instead of 1 and why there is no PiP

I have both the blu and red versions of 300. Will not buy this a third time!!! 300, Beowulf, and HP: Order Of The Phoneix have the best pip features in a movie, imho. I am hoping Iron Man, The Dark Knight, The Incredible Hulk, Prince Caspian, and Indiana Jones: KOTCS will be even better with the pip.

All it says is that there's a commentary by the director on disc one. It doesn't specify if it is video or audio.

Well, if that "commentary" is really a PiP track then your losing the audio commentary track. One way or the other (as it stands right now with these specs) the consumer is still not getting everything....

Also I'm going to say that it isn't a PiP track just because it sounds more like regular commentary.

And I'm also going to say that these specs probably got messed up somehow.... I'd be a very stupid decision on Warners part to not put in the green screen PiP. If they left out the PiP the most complete release would be a year old "combo" on a dead format.

I said this almost a year ago about WB. They will continue their practice of double shitting most of their titles. One reason I won't buy their movies without HD audio.

it HAS to be a screw it, it defies all logic. Why would they have a 1 disc version then later on down the road just take the special features from the 1 disc version and through them on a 2nd disc? These are the DVD specs(the DVD had the features on a 2nd disc) there will be an update witch states the BD will have the PiP plus all the features on 1 disc(they put it into 30, why not 50) then the digital copy on another disc, or something like that.

I even think the Hot gates feature will be on the BD, because like i said they fit everything into 30gbs before, why couldn't they put it into 50, they will probably drop the PCM and just have DTHD.
