Wonder on tech specs.... will Warner do the right thing and give them each a BD-50 or push these onto BD-25s. Will they have lossless?

I just want the first... hopefully it isn't some Spider-man style trilogy only set for long.

I may buy this. I liked the first and loved the second. The third blew though.

This is awesome news, I have been waiting for these to be announced for quite sometime.
my first standard dvd back in 1997 was international man of mystery, this was back when they called it the special edition (not platinum edition they latter changed the cover art to say)i still own that dvd cause it was my first.
sort of like how iam going to be keeping the orginal bluray for casino royale when the new 2 disc version comes out simply cause that single disc casino royale was my first BR

Please tell me they'll be releasing the first by itself. I thought the two sequels were awful.

From the sounds of it, it will be like the Ocean's Trilogy, available together first and alone later.

I also have the original Austin Powers DVD (if was my very second dvd I believe) and the movie was cropped from 2.35:1 to 2.0:1 for the dvd and there have not been any double-dips (there was a repackaging when everyone finally stopped using those cardboard snapper cases, but same disc).
So this should be interesting. I wonder if its a whole new transfer in the original 2.35 ratio. I would totally get it if it is. Don't really want those sequels though...
