Default Hell Yeah!!

My patience has been rewarded!!

I really considered this one on HD DVD but when the format went "belly up", I decided to wait to see what Universal would do with the BD, as I was holding out hope for a Unrated cut with Lossless audio.

My prayers have been answered!!

I couldn't ask for more than BOTH cuts with lossless audio. Great move Universal!! I'll be getting this one!

I did the same. I ended up buying the SD DVD, but this certainly warrants an upgrade.

EDIT: Does this confirm the NA release date as well? Or is this just for Europe?

I have the 3-disc DVD edition, but I'll be getting this. I wonder which cover art they'll use.

Yes! I'm glad I waited.

I still haven't seen the film in any cut.

Yeah, I wouldn't get your hopes up.... a majority of the "shitty PQ" is intentional. And the PQ isn't exactly 'shitty' - just soft (again, it's supposed to be). I expect the picture quality to be a little better but not much.

Now why would anyone buy the 3 pack if its the same price as the movies separatly. Should the 3 pack be alittle cheaper. Still I loved American Gangster and can't wait to own it

Some people are real junkies for slipcases and whatnot. I am, but only if it's something logical (like a trilogy or series). Putting three random movies together in a boxset with no discount seems kinda silly.

Exactly, the shitty transfer was because it was shitty to begin with.

$89. does seem steep for a 3 pack. Separately they will probably run around $20.00 each. It is cheaper to buy them seprately. I guess we will not get the sweet deal we are getting with the Universal "ACTION" and "HORROR" packs that are around $41.00 on this set.
