Default 'What Happens In Vegas' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter has reviewed 'What Happens in Vegas.' He was sorta sucked in, but says this really isn't a great movie. This Blu-ray has solid if unexceptional video and audio, and pretty standard supplements. This is a rental.

2.5 is pretty generous.

The audience is at least two steps ahead of the plot at all times.

I am a fan of Cameron Diaz so I will blind buy this. the Pq seems decent( I will see what other sites have to say since I don't just go by one mans opinion and on this site I just like and trust Josh's reviews better than peters) so I will just have to wait and see.

Really weird... This is one of the first movies in a long time that was lambasted by critics, but I rather enjoyed. It's not a masterpiece, of course... but some of its humor was genuinely hilarious. Reminded me of Arrested Development at times, just not nearly as smart

Definitely going to get this, but I'm unsure if I will go Blu-ray for it. Sounds like the Video is less than stellar... I may give it a shot, though

Man, I was really dissappointed by this transfer, I would give it a 2.5, maybe a 3.

I think the review for this one was pretty much dead on. My own thoughts are in my review at Amazon. Not a skip it, but not something I'd recommend purchase of unless you are a big fan of either of the stars and even then you're probably better off renting.

I'm not as disappointed in the transfer as ChrisInCali above (or quoted here):

It wasn't impressive, but wasn't bad, but given the material (standard sitcom environment) and the lack of picturesque scenery, it didn't need to be that impressive. On the other hand, the story did need to carry the flick and the effort there was too predictable and not enough to make it stand out.

This movies ending was very familer to me. Oh yeah its the same ending that every damn movie of its genre has. When are people going to get tired of it.
