'Failure to Launch' - High-Def Digest Review
We just posted Peter's review of 'Failure to Launch,' and while he found the film itself to be a bit of a trifle, it certainly meets expectations as a date movie. As a Blu-ray release, this one boasts a 4 star (out of 5) video transfer and a solid-enough (3.5 star) sound track.
Why Paramount is choosing to release this Blu-ray and its concurrently-released HD DVD cousin with different encodes *and* different audio resolutions remains a mystery, although truth be told the differences in presentation are negligible.
