Default 'Maximum Risk' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter has reviewed 'Maximum Risk' . He says it's a decent Van Damme flick (interpret that as you will). This Blu-ray gets the job done with nice video and audio, but next to zero extras. For Van Damme fans only.

One of my favorite van damme flicks. i love anything of his, even his bad flicks. this one ranks second on my list behind lionheart. gotta love sony, they give everything a lossless track while warner doesn't even give a big budget movie like speed racer lossless. natasha henstridge is smokin hot in this one.

I liked Timecop, Cyborg, Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Sudden Death, Hard Target, and Nowhere to run. Everything else of his was either forgettable, or an absolute turd.

I'll take Cyborg, Universal Soldier and Street Fighter just for the nostaliga. Give em to me in HD!

Not a big fan of his other films though...didn't care for Maximum Risk.

Amen to that!

I had it preordered already. I'm a big Van Damme fan. I won't rebuy all of his films on Blu, just my favs. Maximum Risk was a fav of mine though

I remember seeing this in theaters back when Jean Claude was in his prime and not doing straight to video flicks. Stupid fun.

I also would love to see Timecop and Sudden Death, which were two pretty decent flicks of his, better than usual.
