I'm not a frequent double-dipper but I will certainly take the plunge on this one. CR is my favorite Bond movie and is actually one of my favorite movies of all time. Two commentaries and bonus featurettes (not to mention the Quantum of Solace cash that will get put to use) is enough of a reason for me.

I will if I can find it for a real low price. It wasn't my favorite Bond flick, but it's still a Bond flick.

Yeah, I'm not one to double dip for extras like that. Maybe if they offered like a higher quality transfer and sound, maybe, but for that I'll pass as well. I'd rather just get something I don't have yet, like the rest of the Bond films on BD.

It would be awesome if it has the same style of cover art as the other Bond releases that day.

I'll be spending for some of the other Bond movies on BD when they are released. Pass on this one as I already bought it as well.

Wow...Sony couldn't wait to cash in on the follow up, huh? I own the two disc DVD and certainly won't be needing the three disc DVD version; picture and audio are superb on this superb title. I rented the Blu-ray but was never too impressed with the transfer nor the PCM audio as compared to the DVD; it just didn't seem like a worthwhile upgrade.

This new Blu-ray release will have different audio from the first release's PCM?

Would be nice if this was the International uncut edition.... I have been trying to work the nerve up to spend the 40 dollars for a while, and have this imported from AU. Sure its only a second added here and there.... but I like to have the edition of any film before th MPAA put their hands on it.

From what I can tell... Its just extras correct?

yup, you'd think Sony would be smart enough to not make us fans to parallel port the Australian edition ... but no... [pulls hair]

The only time I care about any of the secondary movies released (2 disc, special edition etc) is when there is a theatrical and directors cut version or alternate endings (but only in movie branching style).

Studios need to just put their best foot forward and quit dicking the customers. And start putting the theatrical and directors cuts on the same disc. Its getting old.

There is also a 40th Anniversary Edition of the original 'Casino Royale' coming out on Oct 21st on DVD so there my be a slight chance Fox will try and cash in on that as well on Blu-Ray
