Default The Ultimate Matrix Collection - 14th October

Quote:
Warner Home Video has announced the long-delayed Blu-ray release of The Ultimate Matrix Collection for the 14th of October, priced at around $129.95. The set will arrive on seven discs, which will include a mixture of both Blu-ray and standard definition DVDs. Full specs have yet to be revealed, but you can almost guarantee that they will be identical to the previously released HD DVD version. We'll bring you full details as soon as we have them, but until then here's the artwork.

I hope they release Animatrix separately. I'd rather not upgrade from my HD box set just yet, with all the awesome NEW stuff coming out to blu-ray in Q4.

The HD DVD version didn't have The Animatrix in 1080p - result!

I pre-ordered the UK version from amazon.co.uk when it was priced at £15. After shipping it came around £15 (shipping compensated due to no vat for US) which is around $30. If warner's record is true then it should be region free so I'll go for this one as I don't care much about SD extras.

Come on: release the films separately! I never got the HD DVD, nor will I get the BD until I can get only the first film.

I don't know why they keep lumping these sd discs with the blu rays.

Quadruple Dip for Iggy! The Matrix is my favorite...

**Unless it's Identical, but from the $10 higher I'm hoping for more in HD

Why the SD-DVDs? Collector`s Item? I could care less about them if it knocks $20 of MSRP. But will buy anyways

BDs for the movies, SDs for the extras (what was called "Revisited" in the DVD set). The difference btw this and the HD DVDs is the Animatrix is in HD.

As for the price, it'll be $85 on Amazon, which (IMO) is a steal for what is essentially 4 1080p movies and a crapload of extras.

Why Ebay? You can find it here in MINT used quality for around the same price on here. I would rather pay a little bit more than go through the hassle of Ebay. I cant stand it.
