good news I really liked this movie it was one of the best horror movies that I have seen in a long time. At times i was really freaked out. I am not sure how well this will benefit from a high def release but we will just have to wait and see. I will be getting this for sure.

I seen this in theatres.... I was to thrilled. It was better then most of the trash horror that is usually produced.

I dont think its a spoiler to much but ill blacken it anyway....
Spoiler:
I was annoyed on how they tried to pretray the killers as human then at times superhuman (how they would appear and reappear, very annoying) I also the last scream at the end wasn't needed at all.

I did enjoy the suspense that this movie had.... It had you own your toes.

With that said if its gets to the point to be below 15 bucks. Ill buy it

No, this is an un-official remake of the French horror film "Them".

Strangers is one of the biggest wastes of $12 I've seen this year. It was so stupidly bad I about walked out, and probably would of had I not gone by myself.

A few weeks ago when I was at the movies, the trailer for this movie played, and consequently the whole theater was curled up in laughter. Then, at the end of the trailer, the subtitles mentioned that it is 'one of the scariest movies ever made', which provoked even more laughter from the audience. I'd say that does not bode too well for what pretends to be a serious horror movie.

The trailer was better than the movie. I was so excited to see this and left the theater very disappointed.

The movie got old really quick and used the same plot gimmicks over and over.

The only positive thing about it was the fact its not another teen slasher film.

Why I thought the film was a complete waste, in fact several reasons:
Spoiler:

When the guy gets a fucking brick through the window, then procedes to get out of his car and walk into a house, knowing that the car in his driveway and a truck are both smashed together just screams of stupid. I mean come on! The door was even hacked to pieces and he STILL goes in. Does he use his cell phone? Of course not that would have required to much intelligence on the writers part. What about driving the hell away from the place and going to get law enforcement down there? I think that part was my single biggest beef with the film.

On top of that, the main characters were simply idiotic. At any point in the film they could have just ran away. Is there anyway that those people are going to be able to track them, in the dark, running through a forest with masks on? Fuck no, not a chance.

Or how about the part where they decided to separate and go it alone, despite knowing there are 3 people around. What ever happened to common sense and saftey in numbers? Do they think people are so stupid they haven't even got the simplest of survival instincts?

Lastly, this was supposedly based on a true story, but the thing is I couldn't believe it couuld possibly be true. Nobody could be that stupid, lacking of any survival instincts, and common sense enough to be killed like that - or even trapped as long as they were. Even animals run at signs of imminent danger! So I'm to believe people are stupider than animals? Come on now!
