Default '21' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of '21' has been posted. He says the film is entertaining if a bit formulaic. This Blu-ray has terrific video, strong audio, and some good extras. Worth a rental or a purchase if you're already a fan.

Looks like it's worth picking up. I haven't seen the film, but was extremely interested in it.

This will be in my collection tomorrow. I can't wait until July is over, this has been my most expensive BD month!

I just watched this and the MIT campus scenes looked amazing. The detail in the bricks and buildings were very good. The video is definitely "winner winner chicken dinner"

I enjoyed this at the cinema, didn't take itself too seriously and there are far worse movies out there. Good to see it scored well technically, i'll give this a rent and make my mind up from there.

Everyone who enjoyed the film should do themselves a favor and pick up the book on which it is based -- Taking Down the House. An extremely quick read, it will open your eyes to the liberties that the casting directors took with this one (hint: almost everyone on the MIT blackjack team was Asian).

Renting from Netflix. Should get it today. Something I really don't plan on buying but one never knows. Good to see the quality of the BD is good!

Hmm...they changed most of the Asian characters to white people and delegated the remaining Asian characters to one dimensional stereotypes. Grreat.
