Default 'The Lost Boys' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter says 'The Lost Boys' remains an entertaining, if flawed slice of '80s vampire nostalgia. This Blu-ray is excellent, with terrific remastered video, fairly good audio, and tons of extras. Check it out if you're a fan, otherwise, it's worth a rental.

Default Wow!

I was going to pick this up either way, I have to have it, having passed on the two disc SE, but I am surprised at the PQ rating, I saw this one a couple weeks ago on HD Net movies and the PQ was horrible, tons of grain and banding issues all over the place, I was afraid it would look as bad on blu-ray thankfully I was mistaking...

cheers

Thanks for the review! I've had this one pre-ordered for quite a while - really looking forward to it.

The review on the movie itself is not good though

I don't necessarily agree with Peter here, but I love this movie since it came out. I probably seen it more than 6 times on DVD. I will certainly get it on Blu-Ray. Cheesy 80's flick or not, it brings back good 'ol memories!!!
Another movie I'd pick up on Blu whe it comes out would be "Fright Night"
I spent some good nights of my life watching these movies.

Groovy, I love this film and was looking forward to the BD. Great PQ score, I also had the first dvd release and not the 2 disc so the features will be a bonus.

Think I'll wait til the price is right though - £10/$20 inc shipping etc.

Nice! And yes, I'm ashamed to admit it, but I watch "The Two Coreys" on A&E....I just can't look away. Like a car accident! LOL.
