There's something wrong on your end. I've seen this Blu-ray and it looks great. This site also gave it a 4.5.

Default BD Mummy Returns altered from DVD ver

I just viewed the Mummy returns on BD.

The scene when the Pharaoh comes to Anck-su-namun chamber and sees Anck-su-namun leaning on a status, in the DVD he notices that her painted skin is disturbed and says so. But the BD version omits this, and gives a close up of Anck-su-namun tapping her fingers on the statue. Its a poor quality close up at that. What gives!!

I'm sure its a change by Universal and not a disk defect as there is no disruption to movement or freezing and the like. And I can step though the scenes frame by frame.

Has anyone noticed this?

This is a store bought BD.

I posted here as I could not see a defect post area.

merged technical question into review thread. it's better to just use existing threads rather than create new ones on questions pertaining to a release.

Isn't that scene from the first film, The Mummy? Then the Pharoah gets pissed that someone touched her.
