Well, of course, it's always just opinion, but I loved it and I don't think it was Al's worst performance by any means -- and I'm a Pacino fan...at least give it a rental when it comes out. We're gonna buy it.

I saw it on dvd from a dvdrip torrent file. I really didn't enjoy it as much as i wanted to.

i'm a big pacino fan too, and i was so shocked by the reviews, i know it is by far al's lowest rated film on rt. i dont know, if the pq is good i'll rent it, i was really looking forward to seeing this when i heard about it last summer but once those horrid reviews came out i moved on.

just kidding, but yeah, i guess i'll have to wait for the release and see how it holds up.

in all seriousness the bad reviews for this movie scares me because righteous kill that comes out on 9/12 my birthday is the first time since HEAT that pacino and de niro are starring in the same movie, and they're both partner cops!!!!

but the thing that scares me is that it's the same director as this movie. hopefully 88 was just a bad reviewed film by a good director, just like how it's a bad reviewed film for one of the best actors of all time.

the saddest thing of all was that the movie was longer than 88 minutes.
think that was probably a good sign that something was not quite right.

Wow; seems I'm the only one on here who liked this film. Oh well. Me and my fiance liked it and will be picking it up. While HEAT was a great film too, they can't really be compared; just give this a rental at least, those who haven't seen it.
