What the hell is Dead Space?
Is this based on a computer game? I ask because of the EA logo at the bottom. -

This is a prequel to the upcoming game. Appears to be a "comic book" tie-in that is a prequel to the animated movie as well.

EA is not screwing around with promotions and marketing for their upcoming space horror game Dead Space. Not only are they in the midst of a comic book limited series, now they've teamed up with Starz Media to create a full-length animated movie prequel for the game. The animated film, which will bridge the gap between the end of the comic series and the beginning of the game, is being produced by Film Roman, the animation company behind The Simpsons, King of the Hill, and Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!

The trailers for the game are very cool. The animated comic book available for download on the Playstation store is also very cool.
This has been listed on amazon for a couple of weeks and I was wondering what it was. Glad to see it's a full-length animated film. I'm definitely getting it. -

I like it when game companies put out extra stuff like this. Makes it seem like there was some thought behind the making of the game. Then again, it's EA. They can certainly afford it.

I love the cover art for the Blu-ray release. Reflects the mood of the game perfectly.

WOOHOOO SDH!! WOOHOOOO!!!
Am buying this!
All Blu-ray Exclusive Studios MUST have SDH* (Subtitles for Deaf and Hard of Hearing) to enhance the High Defintion experience! I succeeded with Lionsgate, now they use SDH* for all Blu-ray movies.
I am rolling my sleeves & targeting the studios that do not have SDH or subtitles:
Image Entertainment
Echo Bridge Entertainment
Dark Sky Films
Magnolia Pictures
MVP Entertainment?
