I'll be cautious but will remain optimistic about the quality of the BDs. Time will tell. Glad to see these films making their way to this format.

I may consider Romancing the Stone if Amazon has a good special. Fox and the high prices for catalog titles gives me caution. Did not like Jewel of the Nile.

Big fan of Romancing the Stone, and I could care less about the sequel. Likely, though, I'll wait for this one to go down in price. The $27.95 "going price" for these catalog releases is too much for this one.

I would pick this up for $12-15, though.

I'll pick up the 1st one. I had liked the 2nd when I saw it but I was young and upon seeing it a couple weeks ago there's no way I want to own it. It's like a bad parody of the 1st. AND WHERE'S IRA?

I'll likely get the 1st one. Great news!

I second this post. Although $12 is the high end of what I would pay for this title. I am thinking $9-12...

I really loved Jewel of the Nile, never saw Stone but want to. I'm willing to pay $20 or so for these titles. I hope it's a good release and absolutely must have at least the features found in the SE DVD releases or no sale for me. I'm hoping for a two movie gift set.

I am a fan of the first one.... not so much the second one. But knowing what a completionist I am I will probably get both.

I enjoyed these films. First more than the second but would consider picking them up when they drop in price and of course if they get a good review.

Is that coming?!? That would be effin' sweet!!!!

Seriously kidding.

But this is a classic line... in a horrible Van Damme accent...
"I'm going to kick that Bison's ass so hard, that the next Bison wannabe is going to feel it!"

So yeah I'll probably pick these up during a BOGO or something, Fox is really ridicolous with their catalogue prices.

$39.98 is just ridiculous for these titles!! Don't get me wrong, i'm glad they are being released for those who want them, I just think that FOX needs to get realistic about pricing of catalog titles.
