Kenneth has reviewed \’House of Fury.’ He says it's a mediocre hybrid of superficial action and clumsy homages to greater films. This blu-ray has good video, iffy audio and pretty poor extras. Skip it.

Ken, I thought we had an arrangement? You know what question I'm gonna ask...

As for 'House of Fury,' the subtitles unfortunately do extend into the black bars. |

I second that, and just got the blu-ray through the mail yesterday and finished watching all of it
![]() Video was very neutral overall like the reviewer suggests, I do like how the transfer wasn't unrealistically sharp like alot of digital film transfers to Cant say much about the audio since I'm comparing my DTS 5.1 (1536kbps) output to the original DTS 5.1 (768kbps) on the DVD and it did feel like an improvement to me, the sound design on the original DVD wasnt amazing, but its definitely an improvement and I'm sure its the same with DTS HD MA Personally I want more movies with Twins to debut on Blu-Ray to overtake this ok Blu-Ray transfer ![]()

I didn't love this movie by any means, but (for someone who's seen a lot of recent HK movies) it's worth a rental just to see Anthony Wong doing kung-fu, which is hilarious.
I love the opening scene to the movie. I just wish the rest of it lived up to that potential.
