'The Fall' -- pre-release buzz
Sony has announced another new September Blu-ray release:
http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/fall2006.html
From Tarsam Singh (director of 'The Cell'), this is a "fantasy epic" that apparently didn't get much of a theatrical release here in the States.
No tech specs or extra details yet.
Retail is $38.96, and street date September 9. -

FUCK YEAH!!!!
I just saw this 2 weeks ago, it's one of the best films of the year, IMO.
This has reference disk written all over it.
I hope they put The Cell out there--watched it on SD the other day--ouch, the transfer sucks. -

I've been waiting for this one! Missed it at theater. I know it was showing at the Angelica for a short time but not sure if it was ever shown at the main-stream theaters in Dallas.
Anyway, can't wait to see it on Blu-ray! -

Have not seen this yet, but heard good things. Put it in a double pack with the Cell and I am golden. Granted, many people did not like that movie, but I loved the visuals, perfect for BD!

Wow, thank goodness it's going to be released on Blu-ray, I really doubted it would because of it's very small release just a few months ago. This was a very smart move by Sony as this is an amazing and visually stunning film. Now I just hope that New Line would release The Cell on Blu-ray as well. This made my day.

Thoroughly hated The Cell, but this one was a phenomenal movie. Tarsem totally redeemed himself with The Fall.
