Default 'The Godfather' trilogy confirmed, details and date...

Oh, yeah...

September 23rd, for both BD and SD, stand-alone (SD only?) and boxes for both. The link below leads to the details.

Edit: Oops...I didn't notice the release details buried in another thread already. Sorry.

The way I read it, looks like they will sell the standard DVDs individually. But for Blu, you can only buy the 4 disc box set.

Yeah that's the way it reads to me too but that's fine with me as I want them all.

You might be right. Thought I had read elsewhere that the BD's would also be available separately, but the press release details don't show it that way. But I still can't refuse this offer.

That figures.... soak the users while the cheap-ass SD DVD users get to pick and choose. This blows... and sadly, it will NOT be the lst time this happens. When the Alien movies come out you KNOW you're gonna take it up the pooper and have to buy the box set. I focking HATE Alien 3 & Resurrection. Sunz a biches.

Good to see an official statement. Blu-ray.com states that they will be available individually or in the boxset.

Great news. Bill Hunt stated months ago that he had seen something amazing but couldn't tell his readers what... well if you were one of the patient few, it was this. The fully restored Godfather Trilogy. I can't wait! It sounds unbelievable.

I'd provide a link, but I don't post enough...
