Kenneth's review of 'Step Into Liquid' has been posted. He says it's definitely a niche documentary, but one with gorgeous cinematography and a good handle on its subject matter. This Blu-ray release features an excellent video transfer, an above average 7.1 DTS HD Master Audio track, and plenty of extras. Worth a look, but this may appeal more to the surf crowd.

C+P from the pre buzz section
3rd viewing and it still is one of my favorite Surfing films ever. The surfing shots are worth it alone. The PQ is washed on most interviews but for the good stuff(SURFING) its mostly DEMO material(in foreign areas the vibrant color of the water looks gorgeous)...Other times though the picture can get kinda grainy, but luckily its not at the best surfing parts. The AQ sounds decent but its nothing to show off. Of course it is a Documentary so what can you expect. The extras are stellar too. Just a great disc to any guy who appreciates surfing Movie: 4.5/5 PQ: 4/5 AQ: 3.5/5 |
