    Default '1408' -- pre-release buzz

Word has come from the Weinstein Co. that '1408' is headed to Blu-ray on September 16:

    http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/1408.html

No supplement details yet, but the single-disc set includes 1080 video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.

No word on whether the extended cut of the film is included, but we'll keep you posted.

    MSRP is $29.98.

I want Hoodwinked, Black Christmas, and a lot more than just that to be set.

I have the hd dvd import and if the blu ray is the same deal it will be the director's cut .
It's a very good movie .The directors cut has a crappy version of the ending though.
Luckily they include 2 other alternate endings to look at.One of the best horror films to come out in yrs.

What would have been nice would have been if they had actually read the book (well, short story) before making the movie. The movie had little to do with the story and I found it disappointing.
