Default The Mist (2007) Coming To Blu-ray September 16th

The Weinstein Co. will release The Mist (2007) on September 16th.

The Mist was originally scheduled for a September release with 1408, later moved up to August 5th. The release date unfortunately has once again been moved back to September 16th, the same day as 1408, but the release date seems extremely solid this time. No more delays according to the company.

Stephen King's The Mist (2007) Blu-ray
2-Disc Collector's Edition
1080p
Dolby TrueHD 5.1
34.95 MSRP

1408 Blu-ray
1 Disc Edition
1080p
Dolby TrueHD 5.1
29.95 MSRP

Yes, the set is the 2-disc collector's edition, and will include the black and white version of the movie.

The MSRP is great too, meaning $19.95 for 1408, and 24.95 for The Mist on Amazon.

i watched this movie last week and hated it, mostly because of the horrible ending that just made the rest of the movie awful in my mind.

i loved 1408 though, i will definetly be picking that one up, i sure hope it comes with the dc.

Can't freakin wait!!! So glad I waited on buying the SD, if this has a DTS master on it I'm gonna be even more excited....

I will be enjoying this and its BRILLIANT ending in all its HiDef glory. Period.

I thought the amazing ending made the movie even better. (One of the most "love it-or-hate it" endings in recent memory.)

Maybe I'll wait for the Blu to watch it in B/W.
