'Dog Day Afternoon' - High-Def Digest

We just posted Peter's review of the Blu-ray edition of 'Dog Day Afternoon.' Peter loves the movie itself, and it looks like another winning remaster from Warner, boasting four (out of five) stars for for its video transfer.

Well, after a very long wait, my copy of this arrived yesterday.

Terrific transfer, shame that they didn't beef up the sound to 1.0 PCM.

Is it just me or does Al P. not only look but sounds like Adam Sandler in this movie?

it really is just you, this is one of the best performances of all time, don't put adam sandler on the same sentence, please.

I agree. This was a GREAT movie, and the transfer is fantastic. Now if only Warner would get off their asses and release my other favorite Pacino flick, Heat, I'd be very happy.
