Default 'So I Married an Axe Murderer' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of 'So I Married an Axe Murderer' is up. He found the movie to be a nice surprise. This Blu-ray has nice video and audio but nary a single extra. This one is a rental for all but diehard Mike Myers fans.

Um, what the hell? How can they call it a 'Special Edition' if there are no damn special features? Is that even legal???

They did the same thing with the Jack Ryan Collection when it was to be originally released on HD DVD. They recalled the box just to edit out the special edition banner on all the cover art.

Agreed...

Despite having been fond of the film all these years, I can see no justification in shelling out any more dollars for a bare-bones catalog title, that I already own the 'proper' special edition of on DVD.

Also... it should be noted that a film that may be neither meaningful nor memorable can still be enjoyed and worth watching.
RomComs and such never really entice me, but if I manage to get at least three decent laughs out of it, then I somehow feel satisfied.

I always considered So I Married An Axe Murderer to be a bit of a cult hit... and it was a common renter in my days in the DVD rental business.

Have to agree, thats like when 'Directed by Ewe Boll' comes on the screen, he doesn't direct anything he just points a camera in the vague direction of where the actors are rehearsing and forgets to say action and then uses those shots.

I do love SIMAAM though.

Best part of the movie, the first visit to the parents' house for the Scotland match kicked off by the Bay City Rollers' "Saturday." If I buy this it will prob. be for that sequence alone.

I havent seen it and am a fan of Myers in doses.
If I watched this before the Love Guru I would probably not like Love Guru alot cause his characters are ALL THE SAME!
Ill rent it whenever.

There are no special features here? It get's the "Special Edition" tag though? Talk about marketing.

I may have to delete this from my pre-order.

How dissappointing.

Default wrong region info again

this one too is region free unlike stated here. (same with MIB)

I like that at leastb one reviewer state the region of the disc, but if wrong most of the times it is better left alone altogether.
