I would also love Gladiator. However this thread is only for titles that have been released on HD DVD already and not yet on Blu-ray.

warner has stated intentions to release The Matrix this year, one can assume to coincide with Speed Racer as they did with V and the Theatrical Release of Speed Racer
Quote:
2008: 'The Adventures of Robin Hood,' 'Casablanca,' 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' 'Clash of the Titans,' 'Excalibur,' 'Forbidden Planet,' 'Grand Prix,' 'Heat,' 'The Matrix Trilogy,' 'Mutiny on the Bounty,' 'V for Vendetta'
i also recall a story on The Digital Bits about The Animatrix possibly being in HD for the Blu release(crosses fingers)

some other previous HD DVDs are in there too like Excalibur, Forbidden Planet, Robin Hood, Charlie, Grand Prix, and Mutiny

but alas there are no dates... I doubt all of them will be out this year, but if there is one i'm sure it will be The Matrix

and kudos for making this thread i started to once but decided i was to lazy and quit, then i was just hoping someone else would, so yeah definitely worth a sticky

i think you forgot Heroes Season 1 - August 26

and what i was thinking was to italicize announced titles that don't have a date like Casablanca, Serenity and American Gangster

other ones like from Warner - The Matrix 1/2/3, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Excalibur, Forbidden Planet, Grand Prix, and Mutiny on the Bounty

and from Universal, the only ones without a date yet are American Werewolf in London, The Land of the Dead and the fore mentioned American Gangster

What was the date that Hero's season 1 was released on HD DVD ? I have seen it in the stores but the BD looks to be Universal ?

As far as the Warner titles I am not sure that their vauge announcment the they will get them out in 08 and 09 warrants a change in how they are displayed. However I do think that American Werewolf probably does as it was mentioned more specificly and resently. The Warner promises are from like Feb right ?

I really appriciate your guys help on this thread. This information is really free flowing and its hard to keep up with it all without help. Keep it up.

Accually it looks like I had Heroes listed all along. I did however add the release date. Thanks.

Thanks. Perhaps someone should PM a mod about it. It would be tacky for me as the OP to claim that my post is sticky worthy. LOL

I made the request on the behalf of your thread (hope I didn't blow it by using the warning feature, lol...that way, the currently active mods would see it, I presume ).
