I seem to recall reading something on HDD months back where Warner was confirming that they planned the Matrix for sometime this year.

"The good looking ones"? ...by whose distinction? --I mean, this is rather like 'having your cake and eating it, too'. Either you want them just to go through and port everything over as fast as possible so that even the 'poor-selling' titles are now available on Blu, ....or you want them to take whatever time is necessary to remaster and pick-and-choose titles to launch (by whatever metrics are important to the studios).

I, for one, prefer the former approach. We all know the studios love to 'double-dip', so this is their dream scenario: the forced triple-dip (for those of us who ditched the HD-DVD Titanic while it was worth anything). Release title on HD-DVD at high price & early-adopter buys it. Re-release quickly on BD at high price & early-adopter buys it. Re-master and re-release 2yrs later on BD at medium price & early-adopter buys it (along with the mainstream buyers).

I'm used to the DVD practice now, and (to be honest) I've lived through "just the movie, folks" formats like Laserdisc & D-VHS (& early BD's) that I would rather have access to the HD movie NOW (whether it's as perfect as possible or not), and get the re-master later.

It would be awesome if the ones announced or are planned for release were highlighted or stood out a bit more.

Isn't this a violation of the OP disclaimer?

I have heard both of these rumors but they are still on the weak side so I havent added them yet. I will when we get just a bit more solid info. Thanks.

Yeah Constantine is supposed to come this October, but no solid date I think.

As for the Matrix, it's scheduled for November 18th I think.

Holy hell dude, how do you get these types of release dates so soon before anyone else? I've lost count how many times your site has had an announcement, doubted it, then finally validated by HDD.

Anyways I'm just glad The Matrix Trilogy is finally coming this fall. I've got so many to buy this fall. Bourne, Matrix, Mummy(waiting for the inevitable box set), possibly Indiana Jones if they throw out the other 3 movies with the fourth one.
