Default 'Men In Black' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of 'Men In Black' is up. He says the film hasn't held up well. This Blu-ray sports finely remastered video and audio and some new exclusives, but this one is really for fans.

You give the movie 2 stars? That's it? You've got to be kidding. This movie rocks.

'Men in Black' fans should not hesitate to pick this one up.

uguuggghhhh, i really wish this got at least 4.5/5, but he, as well as many other sites said it looks very good, i am definetly going to pick this up since i've always loved MIB. one of the first pg-13 movies i saw in theatres with my parents hahaha. i just dont know whether to buy it at CC for 20$ or bb for 25$ and get the free hancock sneak peek.

I'll probably pick this up Friday when I get paid from work. All other reviews I've seen have listed 4.5 (at least) for PQ and AQ.

And you can probably price match at Best Buy to Circuit and still get the free disc. It rings up as a penny whether you buy something or not.

like the 'Scream' series was to slasher movies, back in 1997 it felt fresh to have a sci-fi comedy that skewered all the conventions of the genre, but that's since been done to death.
When the Scream Trilogy comes to BD... PLEASE! PLEASE! get Kenneth or Josh to review it.
SCREAM is like a 5 star movie in my book. this being a 4, 4.5. I mean COME ON!

Gonna get it FORSHO!

I believe Circuit City's giving out free passes to see Hancock with a Men in Black purchase, though. I'd rather see the movie than take home a trailer disc.

And, again, Peter's taste always jumps all over the place. I still read the movie section of his reviews, but rarely do I ever agree with him.

I'll definitely be picking this one up. Great movie, great price and a free movie ticket for Hancock.

Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And Id like to take a minute just sit right there
Ill tell you how I became the prince of a town called bel-air

In west philadelfia born and raised
On the playground where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys said were up in no good
Started making trouble in my neighbourhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said youre moving with your aunte and uncle in bel-air

(only the first three episodes of season one)

I begged and pleaded with her the other day
But she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way
She gave me a kissin and she gave me my ticket
I put my walkman on and said I might aswell kick it

First class, yo this is bad,
Drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass
Is this what the people of bel-air livin like,
Hmm this might be alright!

I whistled for a cab and when it came near the
Licensplate said fresh and had a dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought now forget it, yo home to bel-air

I pulled up to a house about seven or eight
And I yelled to the cabby yo, home smell you later
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there
To settle my throne as the prince of bel-air

IF THIS HOLDS NO VALUE TO YOU TODAY(because time of pop culture doesnt age well according to this review) then you should hand the review to someone who actually does.

It's Peter Bracke, take the inverse of his opinion and you'll probably wind up a lot closer to reality.

I think I'm just going to start reversing Peter's "the movie itself" scores as I read his reviews. I almost never agree with the guy. We seem to have opposite tastes on almost everything. I do however appreciate the PQ/AQ comments, which is the reason I read the reviews here.

Honestly, how does this guy still have a job reviewing for this site?

Yea I only read his movie reviews because it's fun to laugh at them. The only reviews of his I take seriously is the PQ/AQ sections.
