Default LA Confidential coming in September 23

As per new issue of homemedia magazine its coming on september 23rd. finally we can get rid of our non-anamorphic dvd edition.

What are you talking about??? The SD of L.A. Confidential IS anamorphic. It's a Warner Bros. title--all of their titles were "morphed".


Glad it's going to be a 2 disc set!

man, in 2 months my cj7 import is obsolete, although the USA release is 38.95 msrp'ed. it's gonna be the exact same thing, only w/ a barcode, i'd bet money.

Yeah I suspect it'll be the exact same disc too. Heck, the cover's entirely in English so there good to go once they add the UPC to it.

Is the soundtrack lossless? How is the picture?

I seem to recall from Bill Hunt's phone conference titles will now have lossless audio.

Well, anyway, how is the PQ??????

Great movie. Hope I can find this one for a reasonable price for release date. This is also one of my top movies (I'd say top 25).

Ah, the film that should have won Best Picture back in '98. I'll take L.A.Confidential over Titanic any day of the week. I also remember a couple years later when Shakespeare in Love beat out Saving Private Ryan, Life is Beautiful and The Thin Red Line at the Oscars, shows what they know.

That's what they told him (as he posted) but I still have yet to see it happen on every disc!
