Heart: Alive in Seattle' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of 'Heart: Alive in Seattle' is up. As a fan of the band, Peter quite enjoyed the concert, and this Blu-ray boasts some fairly nice tech specs, earning 4.5 stars (out of 5) for video, and 3.5 stars for audio.

Ann & Nancy are my musical heroines....and the most enduring too. Of the female rock acts of the 70's, 80's, & early 90's, Heart had the most musical range, handling delicate ballads & powerhouse rock anthems with equal aplomb. Of the few Heart concert dvds out there, 'Alive' is their definitive live performance. I have this on HDDVD, which replaced my SD copy. The 1080i upgrade presents a modest, but noticeable difference in PQ. The BD presentation should be identical to the HD edition.

Saw this on HDNet last week and it kicked arse... This is a must buy for any Heart fan out there... Amazingly the Blu-ray and DVD have the very same MSRP, and on Amazon the BD sells for $5 less as well...
