Was never a big lover of this movie.

Id much rather they release Ong Bak or The Protector that Tony Jaa is in, both are pretty rubbish story wise but the action scenes are truely jaw dropping and put anything Li or Chan has done to shame especially when you realise there are no wires, stuntmen or CGI.

I'll pass if it is. I have the uncut Taiwanese issue from HKFlix. Not the best quality but a much better film. The soundtrack on the Artisan cut is irritating.

Bleh, why give us the ruined crappy cut of the film? Besides that, some of these companies have a death grip on the rights for these older Jet and Jackie films. I've wanted uncut and subtitled versions of Drunken Master 2, Fist of Legend, Mr. Nice Guy, Rumble in the Bronx, and First Strike for years and years.

Sadly, outside of some weird imports from France or Germany without English subs, the best thing to do is download. I wonder how much longer the US companies will own the rights (and I assume it must be international rights...as no re-releases have yet to happen over in Hong Kong) to these films.

I agree, it is annoying. Add Jackie Chan's "Supercop" and "First Strike", aka "Police Story 3". I do not want to watch a film with altered voices and music.

Just as an aside - HKFlix and other sites have a lot of the movies you're looking for uncut, just not on BD. You also need a region free player for most of them. Believe me, I'd love me a BD of Fist of Legend. Dragon Dynasty should be doing that along with the DVD release that's coming. Dropping the ball.....again.

If the only audio is a dub, count me out.

Same here.

This sucks, I just hope this doesn't become a trend with foreign language films.

we need more Jet Li in HD.

I am a huge fan of Li's. If this film has the original language audio I will buy it. if its english dub (garbage imo) then I will only rent it.l

Yo dogg,

If you say this movie sucks, step back homie. Your not a real kung-fu fan or Jet Li fan. So your comments have no place here.

Peace...
