Default The Other Boleyn Girl' - High-Def Digest Review

Kenneth's review of 'The Other Boleyn Girl' is up. He didn't care for the film itself, but as a Blu-ray release he says this one's quite strong, featuring a striking transfer captured directly from a digital source and an engaging package of detailed supplements.

regardless of what anyone thought of this movie I enjoyed it.(though these types of movies usually are not my thing) I could care less if it was historically accurate or not(though I am sure that will be a problem for some) thats not what I was looking for. I went in looking for a good drama with two of the most gorgeous leading ladies in Hollywood finally acting together. Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johanssen both gave a good performance and were both extremely pleasing to the eye. I am glad to hear the PQ and AQ are really good. So it sounds like if you enjoyed the movie or like the cast this Blu-ray is a no brainer.

very, very lol. have this one coming in, and really, the only publicity i ever saw for this movie was Natalie Portman always talking about wanting to have/grab Scarlett's breasts. still, fancy shmancy trivia track makes me drool, too.

On the fence about this one. Not my kind of film usually...but Natalie and Scarlett make me . PQ and supplements sound like a winner.

The only reasons I would bother with this film are the lovely Natalie Portman and ahhh.... Scarlett (she's in my top 3). However, I'm not sure how much skin is shown to justify me even renting this movie (aside from my girlfriend wanting to see it).

I liked the movie, and the Blu-ray release is pretty good from a picture quality standpoint, kind of a let-down in the sound department, and the on-disc extras are average to better than average.

The BD-Live materials are now live, but pretty missable overall. Nothing innovative, and certainly nothing that extends or enhances the movie experience as none of it is connected with this movie at all.

Here's my review of the Blu-ray release:

I found this movie to be very strange. I got on here to check the review because I thought the VQ was really nice.
