The Band's Visit coming to Blu-ray!

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring the indie comedy 'The Band's Visit' to Blu-ray on July 29th, day-and-date with the DVD release. Video will be presented in 1.78:1 1080p AVC accompanied by a 5.1 Hebrew Dolby TrueHD soundtrack. No special features have been announced at this time.

Fantastic news. Loved the film. I'm glad to see Sony continuing to bring most of their recent foreign films to Blu-ray.

the description for this didn't grab me when it showed at the AFI festival last year, but I've heard good things. netflix'd!

It is great to see SONY make efforts to release non Hollywood/Commerical fare. I'm hoping they announce Redbelt soon on BD.
