'Jumper' - High-Def Digest Review

I saw it. It was just eh. At first everything was making out to be interesting but then everything was happening so fast. Its only like 80 minutes and it needs about 2 hours to tell. The reviewer had it spot on: great idea. Crappy attempt.

Totally agree with this review, me and my friends listed off a whole bunch of reasons why this movie sucked when we left the theater, which I couldnt tell you now cuz I forgot this crappy movie right when I left the theater

But I expected better from Doug Limon who I honesty enjoy as a director, well I guess if David Fincher had his Panic Room, spielberg had the Lost World, QT had jackie brown, everybody is entitled to one crapfest.

Now I have a reason to Blind Buying this? LOL Fox delivered again on the BD, I do hope I can get this for <$22 (like I did with my recent purchases, Cloverfield, Signs, National Treasure).

Panic Room, Lost World, and especially Jackie Brown (which is a pretty damn good movie) aren't anywhere near the crapfest Jumper was, though Lost World was alarmingly close.

I may give this one another go at some point, but agree with the criticisms. It did look amazing in DLP so I assumed the Blu version would keep it up, glad to see it didn't disappoint.

I agree the movie was average and could have been much better. Worth a rent though due to the great picture and audio quality and the documentary sounds interesting too.

I think I am going to go on a limb and blind buy this one. Everyone has different tastes and the trailer caught my eye. Not a fan of the lead actor (name escapes me right now...probably a good reason,lol) but still...I like Samuel Jackson in just about everything.
