Default 'The Poseidon Adventure' (2005) - High-Def Digest Review

Cheesy TV Movie fans, rejoice: Peter's review of the 2005 version of 'The Poseidon Adventure' is up. He says the film itself is fairly awful, but entertaining in a guilty pleasure kind of way. Likewise, it seems this cheapie Blu-ray release from Echo Bridge is far from stunning, but what do you expect for $9?

Watch Rambo--then get back to me.

Your damned right Peter will be judged by every film he reviews from now on.

I'm surprised there wasn't a bigger backlash at him when he reviewed Reservoir Dogs.

Hey guys --

Boy, I can't believe how much response my Rambo review got!

I review and rate movies based on how successful I think they are given their intentions. In other words, for a cheesy TV flick, I thought 'Poseidon Adventure' was dumb and entertaining and a slight cut above most of its ilk.

I thought for what Stallone attempted on Rambo, the film was muddled, so despite its ambitions i saw it as a failure. I also am a big fan of First Blood, and really think the series fell off quickly after that.

Though I can see why just comparing the star ratings of my reviews, people could think I was crazy...
