Default Blue Underground Blu-ray Promo Video Out!

Looking at the Blue Underground website, they have a new promo video for Blu-ray. The video shows partial trailers for :

The Final Countdown
Fire And Ice
Vigilante
The Bird With The Crystal Plumage
The Stendhal Syndrome
Dead & Buried
Two Evil Eyes
Uncle Sam

and

Maniac

Encodes are full 1080p with 7.1 DTS-HD Dolby True HD on 50 GB discs. Looks like they're off to a good start. Can't wait for some of these titles.

Seems like they are going all out with features and specs. Which is great news.

GamerGuy, keep in mind these are very obscure movies. Even movie buffs can not know of these aside from a few. These aren't even classics, even of their genre; just a mix of good/great flicks that are not mainstream.

That isn't to say all of those are all great, but different strokes.

I'm thrilled about the Argento's and D&B coming. I never would have expected these on BD so soon.

Just sick of all the mainstream/casual movie goers that post in this forum. I'm used to posting with more hardcore film buffs that know their stuff. People that actually watch movies for more than just mindless action and pretty colors.

The one I really want, The Final Countdown, while not a mainstream film did manage to land some A-list actors in Kirk Douglas and Martin Sheen (plus Katharine Ross of "The Graduate" fame and Charles Durning). It's essentially like watching a feature-length episode of The Twilight Zone (only better than anything the Twilight Zone movie itself had to offer). Easily recommended to any sci-fi fan.
