Now just an anouncement for Batman 89 and I'm all set.

This movie is one of his best next to Pee Wee's big adventure.

barring any other announcements (like a stateside release before 9/16 for Sweeney Todd), this'll be my 7th Tim Burton title on hi-def. fantastic news, especially when you toss in Nightmare Before Christmas before the year's out.

right now, my personal race for most titles in hd stands at:

Soderbergh: 7 (with none forthcoming)
Burton: 6 (with Beetlejuice, Nightmare Before Christmas, and maybe the first two Batman movies forthcoming)
Scorsese: 5 (with Gangs of New York forthcoming)
Stone: 4 (with Natural Born Killers, The Doors, Nixon and maybe Platoon forthcoming)

You can uncross your fingers, because all Warner titles are region-free.

Pathetic extras. The film deserves a full-blown Special Edition.

The soundtrack sampler is an insult. The DVD had an isolated score track, which Warners have apparently removed for the Blu-ray version.

Pathetic!

The extras aren't final yet. The date is also the same for the N. American release as well according to dvdactive.com and tvshowsondvd.com

Also count me in for a purchase
