Default 'Anger Management' - High-Def Digest Review

Kenneth's review of 'Anger Management' is up. He wasn't thrilled with
the film, but says this Blu-ray has an excellent video transfer,
underwhelming TrueHD audio, and a banal supplemental package. Give
this a rent first.

I don't plan to even rent this film but I do agree it's good that they are putting out top notch video and lossless sound on almost all releases - even chick flicks and other non-action ones.

To each their own. I really like this movie and thought it was very funny and enjoyed the chemistry between Nicholson and Sandler. I'll pick up this one, especially considering the aud and vid looks to be good.

I certainly think this was much better than "cringetastic junk."

My friend and I actually got in this exact same debate last night. Let's just say he was less than thrilled with my harsh opinion of 'Anger Management.'

You're absolutely right (especially when it comes to comedies) -- to each their own. Thanks for posting a different view on the flick!

I saw Get Smart at a test screening a few months back and it was AWESOME. I went into it being indifferent and not being very hyped to see it, I figured they'd make it crappy like any other tv show to movie thing...

But it was really really really good. Don't deprive yourself of seeing it just because this movie sucks (which I agree with).

I've seen this many times and thought it was pretty funny. I may buy the BD version sometime in the future.

I'm definitely still going to go see it. Thanks for the news though -- you've restored some hope in this jaded cinefile!
