Default 'Poseidon Adventure/Final Days of Planet Earth' -- pre-release buzz

Echo Bridge has announced two more cheapie Blu-rays for June 3:

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/pose...nture2005.html
http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/fina...anetearth.html

Both are TV movies, and there's no specs yet. However, given Echo Bridge's previous titles, expect the usual 1080i/MPEG-2 video, DD and/or DTS 5.1 tracks, and no or minimal extras.

Retail is only $13.98 each!

Actually this Poseidon wasn't bad, not the original of course, but maybe worth the $7.99 this will end up being. I thought the previous set of Echo Bridge films were worth the purchase (7.5,10.5).

Final Days is a pretty typical middle of the road 'b' movie .Worth the low price.

these sound almost as good as The Last Sentinal. Or 10.5 Apocolypse.

Poseidon Adventure was decent enough but with the movie Poseidon so recently released there was no reason to make it. Final Days of Planet Earth though I thought was complete rubbish.

Those are pretty long for made-for-TV movies.

I think they were likely miniseries.

So what exactly is "5.1 dolby digital uncompressed." Are they referring to Dolby True HD or PCM?
