'Volver' - High-Def Digest

Kenneth's review of the Pedro Pedro Almodovar flick, 'Volver' is up. He praises the film's performances and this Blu-ray's lush video transfer, but ultimately concludes that this disc's average audio package and a shallow collection of supplements just don't do the film justice.

I think the aspect ratio is something like 2.35:1, not 1.85:1. Just letting you know.

The Subs are white.

I have read elsewhere that this flick has yellow subs. Not true for this BD

Subtitles are white. There's also a closed captioned type subtitle option where the text is also white, but larger and on a black background.

The picture aspect ratio is 2.35:1.

Also, someone go to the 35:02 time mark and tell me if that guy isn't a dead ringer for George Clooney.
