Based on what they did with Cloverfield and (although I didn't buy it) TWBB, I see this as possible. I'm not bitter or anything but that was a real deceptive move to get everyone to get the SD release to then tap the people who wanted it on HD to get them to buy it twice. Seeing as the announcement was not too far from the release dates of those movies, there was definitely something going on here.

I held out on buying the There Will Be Blood dvd, because I hated the packaging. Cloverfield, on the other hand, I HAD to buy because of the metallic packaging at FYE/Suncoast. I'll pick up Cloverfield if it has good reviews and see if I can make a custom bluray box out of the metallic SD box I got. ^.^

Thanks for posting this onyxx. By the way...WWOOO HHHOOOO!! Bout time! Part of the pleasures of having a 13 year old son is I can give him the sd dvds of Cloverfield and There Will Be Blood. Bee Movie goes to my 9 year old girl. So...I will pick up those three for sure. Next and Face Off...pass. Thanks Paramount for giving us a bone. Now, when can we expect Sweeney Todd??
