Default 'Sublime' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of 'Sublime' has been posted. He says it's a pretty typical direct-to-video horror film. This Blu-ray is solid if unspectacular, with pretty-good video and audio, and fairly extensive supplements. This is a rental, but nothing more.

Another example of Warner shoving subpar DD+ tracks at us!

Not really interested in this, just a mild curiosity: If the movie was made to be straight-to-video, why was it shot in the scope 2.40:1 aspect ratio? Doesn't really make sense since it's not intended to be seen in theaters.

Ok, so I'll admit that I'm curious about this enough to put it in my rental queue and I'm glad z-grade horror is coming to blu -r ay I guess.... I just would at least like the Dimension films (like their extreme) label to come to blu ray as well!!!!

Just to look more cinematic. Scope DTV flicks really aren't that uncommon. White Noise 2, Return to House on Haunted Hill, Hollow Man 2, and Dracula II: Ascension are a few that spring to mind.
