Yeah, I highly doubt the Blu-ray versions will ever be released like that. It's possible, but I wouldn't expect a packaging change for a few years at least. You could always make a custom cover, and buy a cheap copy of Blade Runner Blu-ray to use as the case for at least Season 1. Then buy Prison Break Season 3 to use the case for Heroes season 2.

The cases in mind, they actually look quite nice, and unless you are a HUGE fan, I doubt you will see much wear and tear. I don't think it's like The Simpsons, were you could just randomly watch an episode time to time and really enjoy it, with out starting from the beginning.

Looks like it DOES suffer from Interlacing...

Could be a mix of a crappy camera and a moving frame haha.

Nope. If that were the case, the PiP box wouldn't be so clean looking.

Do you not see a ghosting effect when you watch it?

I need to watch it I guess, I put it in for a minute. Have yet to start on either season. That was season 2 btw.

yeah I could tell by the scene in the shot. Now I'm nervous both will have interlacing issues. What player are you using? Output settings? 720p, 1080i, 1080p?

That was on a PS3 1080p, I could try on a different player and see if I notice a difference. Could it not just be how it was filmed if both suffer the same thing?

it is listed as being 1080p/VC-1 so it shouldn't be interlaced. But the packaging could be lying to us. idk...

Season One is 1080p/VC-1, didn't check Season 2's encode, but I would assume it's the same. I will check later.

I'm leaning towards camerawork/equipment. Could be the TV has weird interpolation/pulldown. The PS3 will say whether something is interlaced or not, and Blu-News says it's telling him it's not.

Watched the first two episodes, picture quality is good - comparable to Season 1. I'd say between 3.5 and 4 stars on the PQ.

That scene does indeed looks strange. I hope Season Two isn't botched and it's just a camera/interpolation thing.

I also don't remember anything looking like that on Season One.

I think it's a camera thing, because I doubt Universal would screw up both seasons. That's season 2, and MrE noticed it on season 1 on HD DVD. It's episode 1 of Season 2, but I'll revisit that scene tonight, to see if I notice it. I didn't notice it when taking the pics, but then again it was very quick.
