Default 'Artie Lange's Beer League' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of 'Artie Lange's Beer League' has been posted. Like the film, he keeps his summary simple. OK video. OK audio. OK supplements. Al around, pretty OK. This one's a rental.

For a measly $10 I picked it up at Fry's. Overall it was not to bad and worth the small price, considering the SD DVD is the same price.

The DVD is in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart, at least here in Alberta, Canada.

Grabbed mine for $10 from Amazon. Hard to justify it as just a rental if you're an Artie fan when it doesn't cost much more than a rental at Blockbuster.

I would say me and Peter pretty much agree on this one. I may have given it an extra 1/2 a star on some parts but it's cool.

BTW your missing an "l" on "all"

I don't remember him from MADtv at all other than the stories he's shared on 'The Howard Stern Show' and one repeat. I love Artie on Howard though (I hope he didn't really resign last week!!) but, I've already got this on S DVD.

Default Artie had no idea about this blu-ray release

Anyone else who is a stern fan pick up on the fact that Artie had no idead what blu ray even was, let alone that his movie was being released on it. I believe it was Steve Langford who mentioned beer league's blu debute and Artie asked "what the hell is blu-ray?". Hard to justify it's purchase when even Artie was clueless to it's existence.
