Default Untitled John Mayer Blu-ray - pre-release buzz

Quote:
There's no title yet, but John Mayer has announced plans to bring his first concert release to Blu-ray by the end of the summer.

According to Billboard/Reuters, sometime this summer a new Blu-Ray release (day-and-date with a CD/DVD set) from Mayer will hit stores, recorded at a December 2007 show at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre. Plans are to include an acoustic performance, a full-band set, and Mayer collaborations with his Trio, featuring drummer Steve Jordan and bassist Pino Palladino.

THANK YOU!!!! Every time I see another concert Blu-ray announced, I publicly lament how it's not the Foo Fighters. 'Skin & Bones' was filmed in hi def...What's the problem??! I won't buy that DVD on standard def. I know the Hyde Park concert was filmed, too. Get some out already!

Excellent audio options. I look forward to hearing the 96kHz/24-bit Dolby TrueHD 5.1 track.
