guess there aren't many fans of this amazing series out there.
strange. I think this won either the golden globe or emmy for best drama or comedy series recently. Can't remember exactly which one.
It's a very cool look at a 60's ad agency.

Since I missed the first episode, I didn't watch it as it aired; on Blu would be a nice way to see it.

Heard many raves about the show.

Yes, great show. Great atmosphere. It's quite a laugh seeing what the workplace was like at the time...sexism, alcoholism...

Not a show for everyone, however. It can be quite plodding in some parts, but I found it fascinating.

Yes, I saw the USA piece. The Blu-ray set and the DVD set are priced the same, $50. While that is normal price for an entire season of regular network TV, wasn't there only about a dozen episodes so far of MM?

The wife and I watched all of Series 1 and liked it a lot. Can't say that I'd go out and buy it on BR after having already seen it, though -- it just doesn't strike me as the sort of thing I'd wanna watch multiple times.

This just appeared in my Gold Box, so I picked it up. It's a blind buy, but the recent Entertainment Weekly article (this show was the cover) got me very interested in seeing it.

Anyone else who ordered this from amazon.com not have this enter shipping soon mode yet? Normally my orders are prepared for shipping by now.

Mine hasn't, yet, but this is normal for my orders. Mine usually don't hit the shipping soon mode until Monday mornings. I'm prime member as well.

On another note, here's theDVD Talk review.
