Had there been any other main actor, I wouldn't even want to rent this. Because Will Ferrell is the lead, I am going to blind buy Semi-Pro.
Many people thought Blades of Glory (I so want to rip off your skin and wear it for my birthday) was bad and I enjoyed it. I think, I'll like this one as well.Panasonic 50" 1080p plasma TH-50PZ700U

I didn't see this in theaters so it's a rent for me.
"Drainage! Drainage, Eli, you boy. Drained dry. I'm so sorry. Here, if you have a milkshake, and I have a milkshake, and I have a straw. There it is, that's a straw, you see? You watching?. And my straw reaches acroooooooss the room, and starts to drink your milkshake... I... drink... your... milkshake!"

How is "Bill Walton visits the set" BD exclusive? I've already seen it on ESPN like 50 times.

Just pre-ordered this from Amazon. I did not see it listed at DVD Empire as been indicated in the Blu Ray Release section.

Will probably be blind-buying this one, I like most of his other movies.

no deleted scenes or bloopers, every will farrell movie has those whats the deal? Seem pretty light for a 2-disc release.

I've liked pretty much all of Ferrell's movies up until this one. The cast is fine (very good even), but the material is just incredibly weak. There are a few worthwhile laughs here and there, but for a movie that plays it this broad, there was an awful lot of downtime. I guess the best comparison is it's more your typical sports movie versus a Will Ferrell sports movie. And the tone it strikes right from the get go just feels... off.
I'd strongly recommend renting it first, but I never pay attention to people who say that either

I must have misread this thread. I thought there's gonna be a sequel!

The only funny part in this movie was the bear fight, and that was in the trailer as well haha. I'll pick it up though, need some weekly new releases in my collection.
